About this apartment rental
The "Kunterbunt" vacation rental is now our largest unit, comfortably accommodating 6 people (3 bedrooms!). It is located on the first floor and features a rooftop terrace of approximately 35 square meters with a view of the Scharbeutzer Heide.
It is divided into two large bedrooms with box-spring beds (180x200), a children’s room with a loft bed (connecting door to the master bedroom), a living-dining area, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a bathroom.
The apartment was completely renovated and refurnished in May 2023.
The estate is a former orchard, built in 1912 and initially used as a vacation inn; it became the family’s private property in 1998.
Following renovation and restoration, romantic vacation apartments and bed-and-breakfast rooms were created. All guests now have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at the on-site café.
It was a particular priority for the new owners to design vacation apartments with a romantic and cozy atmosphere that are nonetheless comfortable and very inviting.
The relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere on the farm, where a park-like garden with a barbecue area and pavilion has been created on a property of approximately 5,000 m², combined with the peace and coziness of the vacation apartments, is well-known not only in Klingberg and Scharbeutz but is especially appreciated by guests from metropolitan areas and large cities. And yet it’s only about a 15-minute bike ride to the Baltic Sea beach and the center of Scharbeutz.
The large Pönitzer See, with its swimming area, and the largest dog-walking area in East Holstein are within walking distance.
Just five minutes from the Sachsenhof lies the beautiful, expansive Lake Pönitz, which is perfect for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, wing foiling, and relaxing. Through the adjacent Scharbeutzer Heide, you’ll find lovely paths leading to Scharbeutz. There are four restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the farm: Brechtmann (known for its duck dishes), Butz (upscale German cuisine), Kouros (Greek specialties), and Zum Moorteich (home-style cooking).
Additional important information:
The staircase leading to the apartment on the 1st floor is relatively steep and is therefore not suitable for people with mobility impairments.
