About this cottage rental
Bring the whole family to Summer Shade with lots of room for fun inside and out. Convenient sound side location with just a short walk to the beach access, across the street. You'll enjoy quieter days and a less traveled street in Emerald Isle with tons of natural vegetation offering a cool Summer Shade experience. Newly remodeled and furnished in 2023. You'll have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation experience.
Outdoor amenities include an enclosed hot/cold shower under the front deck, cold only shower in back as well as a stainless fish cleaning station. Spread out on the expansive deck in the evening under the shade of live oaks. Downstairs in the garage enjoy an open space to kick back with a game of ping pong or air hockey.
Bring your kayaks/paddle boards or boat and put in at the public ramp located only a tenth of a mile on 13th street.

The house was very comfortable and we felt like we were at home. We had a variety of ages from 9 years to 79 years. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Nice house and location - just a five minute walk to beach. House needs a small bit of updating but had everything one could need. Didn’t get to take full advantage of the game room as there was no interior access for kids. Ours are on the younger side. Would have needed adult there all the time. Gas grill! Large deck! Overall a great place!!! Would definitely book again.

This spot is everything that was described on the site. The beach was walking distance from the house. Neighborhood super friendly and owner was very tentative to your needs thanks again for letting us stay in your home god bless you.family was very comfortable and the garage was great for the kids ..amd
