We enjoyed staying at this lovely cabin above Fontana Lake/ Almond, NC. It was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the fire pit and the cozy porch swing. It is convenient to both Almond boat marina and Prince Boat marina. Pontooning with my cousin was great fun and hiking one afternoon at Deer Creek Trailhead- 3 glorious waterfalls!

This cabin was everything we hoped for and more! It was exactly as described—super clean, spacious, and extremely well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the entire experience stress-free. We especially loved the huge wraparound porch, the bed swing in the back, and nightly campfires with s’mores. The short walk to the lake was a great bonus. The peaceful setting, thoughtful touches, and roomy kitchen made it perfect for our group of 5 adults, a pre-teen, and two dogs. It truly felt like a home away from home—and the best cabin we’ve ever rented!
