Overall, the house is very clean, beds are incredibly comfortable, the house is a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. However, we were disappointed with the lack of communication from scenic stays. Upon arrival we received a text that the house may be ready early. We arrived at the house approximately at 3:30 told them we were there and they still would not release the code till 4 o’clock. There was no response back. In addition, after we finally got in the house we arrived back just one hour into our stay, we were met by a realtor in our driveway. We had no idea what was going on, but there was a realtor and a buyer to the house we were staying in greeting us. They explained the situation and told us that scenic stays had not communicated with them either that we were there and to our surprise, scenic days had not communicated to us that they would be showing up. We felt bad that the buyer had traveled so far to see the house so we removed our things from the house so she could walk through it a final time. Luckily the realtor was very gracious of our action of letting them in the house during our stay and she made it right. However, Scenic stays did not. It seems like they only communicate if there’s something in it for them, but can’t return the same courtesy back to their customer when they ask for communication, that’s why I’m not a fan. So I will definitely keep this in mind. If I ever end up owning a property I would hope my property management company would do a better job with communicating to customers as they should.

We did find 4 huge roaches during our stay in 3 different rooms upon our arrival. It would also be helpful if there were more clear directions with the golf cart problems ahead of time and also with the charging. The location was nice and the communication was very fast. I enjoyed using the app as well.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely location conveniently located about 4 min walking distance from the pool. The house was very spacious and beautiful. The golf cart allowed us to go to Baytowne wharf and view the amazing fireworks display. Additionally the golf cart gives you access to the Sandestin Publix where we did a lot of our grocery shopping. We are already looking to book next years trip!

Very nice house and great amenities near by. Beds are amazing and house was clean.
Not impressed with Scenic Stays, they are poor communicators and will send text messages that you may check in early but that was not true in our case. We messaged them that we arrived at our property after they sent a message that it may be ready early, but after waiting we received no response and didn’t receive our code till 4. Clearly the property was ready early but they didn’t want to give us the code early. So we waited. Then to our BIG surprise, the house we stayed in was being sold and the realtor needed to show the buyer the house the final time. Scenic Stays did not communicate this to us and we didn’t find out what was going on until the realtor had to explain the situation to us in the driveway of the home we were renting while on our vacation. We removed our belongings from the home so the buyer could go in for the final walk through and we left so she could finalize things. Again this all should have been communicated well in advance but was not. Scenic Stays has no problem sending messages for check out, but when it comes to other things be prepared for no response. I doubt others will have the buyer/realtor surprise that we did, but it’s worth noting. Scenic Stays never apologized for the inconvenience, luckily the buyer & realtor appreciated us changing our plans & made it right.
