Open Plan Lounge/Dining, Full Kitchen & BBQ for Alfresco Dining on Partially covered Deck with Stunning Ocean Views, Satin Jet Shower and quality bed & bath linen supplied. Two king beds in the bedrooms upstairs, and two double Sofa Beds in the Lounge for extra guests.
The space
Just a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland City, New Zealand's Waiheke Island is a magical place. The ferry-ride alone is a scenic delight, passing some of the Hauraki Gulf's most beautiful islands, Rangitoto (259mtr high inactive volcano), Motutapu, Great Barrier and Motuihe and dolphins and whales frequently visit the Hauraki Gulf.
Waiheke Island is one of worlds most beautiful small islands, and has been voted 4th best Island in the world and 5th in the world's top 10 regions.
Breath-taking scenery, beautiful beaches, vineyards, olive groves, local boutique shops, arts and crafts, exhibitions, gallery's, restaurants and café's, coastal and bush walks and bird life galore!
Centrally located on Waiheke Island, Palm Beach is peaceful and quiet with a stunningly beautiful safe swimming, white sand beach and abundant birdlife.
This fully self-contained stand-alone Villa, (not an apartment) has two private decks with outdoor furniture and barbecue and gorgeous views down to Palm Beach, the Pacific Ocean and islands beyond... the pristine white sands, of Palm Beach a lovely restaurant and convenience/mini grocery store with coffee, ice creams and milkshakes is only a 7 minute tree lined stroll away.
A Split King Bed in each bedroom which can be separated to two singles for longer stays or at an extra cost, please enquire if this is a pre-requisite for your stay, and there are two double sofa beds in the lounge.
Bus stop at the bottom of the driveway and pick up and drop off is also available for Waiheke Island's famous wine tour or enjoy the local boutique shops, arts and crafts, exhibitions, gallery's, restaurants and café's on the Island

This villa is privately owned but located within the security and manicured grounds of the Waiheke Island Resort at 4 Bay Road in Palm Beach. Although within the grounds, being privately owned and not run as part of the resort managed facility you are not automatically entitled to use the swimming pool, spa pool or mini golf, but AS LONG AS YOU CHECK WITH RECEPTION FIRST AND THERE ARE NO PRIVATE FUNCTIONS BEING HELD, YOU CAN BUY A "POOL PASS" FOR $10 PER PERSON PER DAY, ,ENTITLING YOU TO USE THE POOL DECK, WITH SWIMMING POOL AND SPA POOL, AND YOU CAN OF COURSE BUY FOOD AND BEVERAGE TO ENJOY FROM THE BAR AND RESTAURANT, OPEN FROM EARLY MOST DAYS :) THERE IS ALSO MINI GOLF, AGAIN AS LONG AS IT IS NOT BOOKED WITH A PRIVATE FUNCTION, YOU CAN ENQUIRE TO PLAY FOR $10 PER PERSON

Lovely way to end a day of wine tasting on Waiheke was to stay here with the awesome views

This little villa is absolutely beautiful, even more so than it seemed in the listing. It's inside a resort, so you have access to the resort amenities, but is a separate and distinct home in there. It has 2 well-proportioned bedrooms upstairs with a shared balcony. They were very flexible with check-in time (we arrived very early and they let us drop off our bags and then had the place ready for us 2 hours before check-in without any charge), allowed us access to a car for a reasonable price, and also reached out to let us know there was availability the next day if we wanted to stay. The apartment is about a ten minute walk down the hill to the beach, and there's canoes you can use if you wish. The hill is quite steep but it's worth it because the view is STUNNING from the house, overlooking the bay.
The resort has a pool, mini-golf, restaurant & bar. The food and wine are high quality. There's a small fee to use the pool area. Easy to get a taxi.
The wifi is a bit spotty and came in and out, however looking at the available wifi networks that appears to be an island issue vs. this particular home. There's a TV in the living room, and one in the bedroom; they are not Smart devices to you can't access the usual streaming apps or beam from your phone; I would recommend packing a fire-stick or apple TV to use, wifi permitting.
All around, a great experience which exceeded our expectations, especially given the very reasonable price. Would stay here again for sure.
