. Vara House on the Rock is situated in an absolutely peaceful location on a mountainside near Rethymno on Crete and offers a breathtaking view all the way to the sea. This unique vacation home harmoniously combines privacy, nature, and modern amenities. The house features an open-concept living and dining area with a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an additional outdoor shower. Outside, you’ll find a private pool with a sun deck, a barbecue area, and a fantastic panoramic view across the gorge to the coast. An extraordinary atmosphere develops here, especially in the evening hours. The popular beaches of Platanes and Rethymno are just a few minutes’ drive away. Shopping, taverns, and the historic old town of Rethymno are also within easy reach. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private outdoor areas ensure a relaxing vacation in Crete.

Wir hatten unseren aller ersten Kreta Urlaub in diesem wundervollen Haus verbracht. Wir wurden vom Vermieter so herzlich empfangen das wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt haben.
Das Haus hat eine moderne Ausstattung, es fehlte uns an nichts. Wenn man sich das alles so auf sich wirken lässt merkt man erst viel harte Arbeit in diesen Haus steckt.
Der Poolbereich ist ein Traum. So einen tollen und beeindruckenden Ausblick hatten wir noch nie gehabt.
Danke nochmal an den Vermieter für so einen wundervollen Urlaub.
