Heerlijke plek tussen de wijngaarden. Kleinschalig en attent personeel. Het zwembad is klein maar voldoende om even te kunnen zwemmen, ook mooie plek om de ondergaande zon te ervaren. De woonkamer en terras zijn een prettige plekken om te zitten. Gastvrouw maakte een borrelplank voor ons klaar toen we aangaven in de avond niet uit eten te gaan na onze luxe lunch bij het DOC restaurant (reserveren noodzakelijk). In Peso da Régina is een zeer informatief museum over de Douro vallei en de wijnbouw. Als je vanaf die stad naar het hotel gaat let dan op bij begin van het dorp, nog voor het restaurant DOC links aan de rivier. Daar is een bord van Quinta Vale de Lobos dat je de weg wijst om het dorp heen. Mijn navigatie stuurde me door het dorpje met een lastige smalle steile weg.
Als je tussen de wijngaarden in de natuur wilt zitten moet je accepteren dat, in het donker, de weg ernaar toe wel lastig is.

L’emplacement, la vue sublime, la piscine, le côté indépendant (on est comme chez nous), les vins proposés, le personnel très agréable
Malheureusement nous avons opté pour un massage duo mais la salle n’était pas terminé. Cela s’est donc fait individuellement dans notre chambre.
