Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. From the very beginning, the host showed exceptional kindness and compassion by allowing us to check in early after our travel plans changed and we arrived much earlier than expected. Having a comfortable place to stay right away made a tremendous difference for our family. The home was spotless, spacious, and comfortably accommodated all six of us. It was well-equipped with a washing machine, all kitchen appliances, dishes and pots and pans needed in case we cooked at home which was especially convenient during our trip. The host’s family was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is outstanding. There is a commercial laundry service just a two-minute walk away, and some of San Sebastián’s exceptional restaurants are within a five-minute walk. The neighborhood is surrounded by tapas bars and restaurants where you can experience the city’s incredible cuisine and unique appetizers. The beautiful coastline and beach are less than a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy the breathtaking scenery whenever you like. We also found the local community to be friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help if we needed assistance. The primary languages spoken are Spanish and Euskara (Basque), and you’ll notice that many street signs and public announcements are displayed in both languages, adding to the city’s rich cultural identity. San Sebastián (Donosti) is a vibrant coastal city known for its stunning beaches, lively atmosphere, and world-renowned food. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to our wonderful host for making our trip so memorable!
