cute and quiet apartment in Montmartre

La posizione è strategica, a pochi minuti da Montmartre. Piccolo appartamento completo di tutti i servizi, luminoso e tranquillo nonostante sia ubicato in un quartiere vivace. Il proprietario è stato davvero gentile e disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno.

Henry is a great host - very helpful right from the time of booking to actual stay. He stayed in touch and kept me informed of everything, and even proactively messaged me during my stay to make sure everything is fine. I really value this level of commitment and communication! As for the apartment, it was everything I needed it to be - simple and comfortable, with all the needs covered: comfortable bed (really!), a space for lounging, bathroom and tiny but sufficiently equipped kitchen. Truth be told, the apartment is not very modern (not the decor - it was nice, just amenities in general), but I guess if you want designer tiles in your shower, you go to a 5* hotel. Here the important thing was that everything was super clean, so I had absolutely no issue with, for example, showering or preparing my food there. It was also very quiet, as advertised - doesn't mean there wasn't an occasional dog barking or someone listening to music with their windows open, but there was none of this street noise that can be heard throughout the night in many places. Overall - I'm super happy with the place. As for location - Montmartre is very multicultural and vibrant, in a kind of intimidating way at the first glance. But the reality is that it's really safe (I didn't feel threatened in the slightest, even coming back to the apartment after 1 am), and people are very helpful and understanding. It's amazing that it's just a short walk from Gare du Nord, so it's a direct train away from the CDG airport, and it allows to easily reach any part of the city. Also, the nearest metro stop is actually a minute from the apartment. Lastly, it's right next to the Sacre Coeur basilica (again, just a short walk), so it's a great starting point for sightseeing. There are also plenty of useful businesses nearby, including supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

Everything was good, just as on booking description. My wife liked it less then me, because it is was located in old building where you can hear when you neighbor goes somewhere, but for me it was fine and authentic :) Also host was really nice, so I can't say anything bad about apartment
