Excellent location from the town, just a short walk. Room was big and bed comfortable. Had everything we needed for a night. We had a sea view which was great.
Spoken to hotel seperarately, some improvement is needed.

Efficient & friendly
The kitchen, although well stocked with facilities, was not kept very clean, which I do realise is mainly due to the guests not washing up & clearing up after themselves, but it does need to be monitered by the owners daily.

I was looking for clean, comfortable, friendly, no frills budget accommodation - and the Lakeside more than satisfied that.
no clothes hooks on room doors; prefer shower gel dispenser in shower rather than packets; there should be a box to put keys in on checkout OR instructions as to what to do
