L'Hortensia

The location is perfect for Beuvron-en-Auge - right on the outskirts of the village, so it's lovely and quiet but you're within 1-2 minutes walk of all the shops and restaurants - and of the boulangerie for breakfast! Parking is good and the property was easy to find, with the lockbox system working well. The host was very responsive and helpful with a specific issue we encountered that was swiftly resolved. It's also great to have two toilets in a relatively small 2 bed property.

Some of the kitchenware wasn't clean (e.g. spoons) which was a bit offputting. The house also only has windows on one side of the house which makes it a bit dark - not a problem if you're only using the house as a place to sleep, but not ideal if you'll be spending time there. Some more comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy warm evenings in the courtyard would also have been appreciated. The bathroom was also quite aged and could do with a bit of a revamp (although absolutely functional).

Die Treppe ist sehr schmal, und hat es nicht gestört.

Sehr kleines gemütliches Haus mit großem Pkw-Stellplatz auf dem Grundstück. Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern und Badezimmer sehr eng, aber gut machbar. Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Ofen, Mikrowelle - alles da! Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter!

Zwei zusätzliche Handtücher zum Händeabtrocknen (unten und oben) haben wir vermisst, haben aber auch nicht danach gefragt; ansonsten hätte der nette Vermieter sie uns sicherlich gebracht.

La demeure est charmante. Stationnement dans la cour très pratique. Très bien située dans ce joli village

Grand problème pour moi qui m’a empêché d’accéder aux chambres et à la salle de bain c’est l’escalier. Comme il n’était pas en photo et que je ne me suis pas méfiée, grande surprise c’est un escalier en colimaçon et sans rampe au mur.
