About this cottage rental
In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, near one of the most beautiful villages in France and not far from the sea (Cabourg 20 minutes away, Deauville 30 minutes away), this freshly renovated 18th century farmhouse welcomes up to 12 people for a weekend or holiday.
The house is surrounded by outbuildings (old sheepfolds and bread oven...), in a large garden with adjacent orchard, with heated swimming pool from June to September, a farmyard and a stable. The south-facing terrace opens onto the fields and the Dives valley as far as the eye can see.
Inside, everything has been carefully hunted to create a warm atmosphere.
On the first floor:
- An entrance
- A kitchen open to a dining room
- A living room with a view of the valley
- A small living room with a sofa
- A laundry room
- Toilets
On the 1st floor:
- A large bedroom with a 180 bed (or 2 x 90) and a 90 bed with bathroom and toilet
- A large bedroom with a 180 bed (or 2x 90) with bathroom and toilet
- A small bedroom with two 80 beds that can be twinned with a small bathroom and toilet
- A small bedroom with two 90 cm beds
- A small bedroom with single bed and possibility of baby cot
On the 2nd floor:
- A large bedroom with 180 bed with large bathroom (shower + bath) and separate toilet
- A large bedroom with a 160 bed with small bathroom and toilet
7 minutes away, the listed village of Beuvron-en-Auge where you will find a bakery, tobacconist/newsagent, as well as decoration shops and something to eat. The nearest pharmacy and other food shops (including a supermarket) are in Dozulé (also 7 minutes)
In the surrounding area:
The cider route and the villages of Beuvron-en-Auge, Cambremer, Beaumont-en-Auge...
Beaches (Cabourg, Deauville-Trouville, etc.)
Caen (Memorial, Castle of William the Conqueror)
The D-Day landing beaches

Possibility of baby equipment (2 high chairs, 2 travel cots, playpen, babycook)
Weekends: minimum stay of two nights
School holidays: minimum stay of 5 days

Beautiful house!! Enjoyed a wonderful family vacation there. The house easily fit all 8 of us, had plenty to do onsite, and the pool was wonderful for the kids. The house gives you a great countryside feel while being close enough to many sightseeing points in the Normandy area. The hosts were awesome; accommodating and flexible.

Beautiful house perfect for our family of 12 ranging in age from 4-77. Stunning views, relaxing setting, lovely pool, standard of the rooms very good, brilliant showers and configuration perfect for 4 family units. The house was absolutely fantastic. The views amazing from all the bedrooms. We have never been in such a quiet place. Really convenient for the beaches and touring round. Nathalie the owner was so helpful and accommodating even adding in some toys to keep our Granddaughter happy and offering to post a Kindle we had left back to us.
We were extremely comfortable and found the kitchen fully stocked with utensils as we like to cook and eat in. I
We cannot recommend this house highly enough and if we come back into the area it would be our number one choice
$$$$
