It’s was a decent stay, well located and with a fair price in comparison to other options in the region.

The property is beautiful, comfortable and very well located. It’s very easy to explore the village and the beach on foot, and also to take a bus to move between cities. Communication was fluid. Great bed. Good breakfast.

It’s a B&B, not a hotel, but this was not very evident in the add. It’s not a problem, but it would be better to have all the info in hand. The check-in time was announced as 3 p.m. but as soon as you book and pay (with no refund option) they inform you it’s actually 4 p.m. I personally find abusive any time after 2 p.m. for check-in. The staff was polite with us, but I witnessed a heated argument between one staff member and a guest, which was a bit shocking. It seemed like the worker was within reason, but the tone was inappropriate on both sides.

Very pleasant

Great location, spacious room and bathroom. Available kitchen for use. Jacuzzi. Stunning decoration both in common parts and in the room and gorgeous house. Bathrobe and slippers were a great extra touch as well as shampoo/soap/shower gel. There was even a bath tub in our bathroom )

The lights in the bedroom were not strong enough to read. There were no instructions on where the bedroom was exactly located in the house, not pleasant to have to look around everywhere when just a few signs could be added or mentioned in the booking description. We found a jacuzzi on the grounds but were not clear on how to use it/at a cost or not... And there was no one to help us with that information as the carer only came in the am and we had to leave by 11.30. Shame! It was also indicated on the ad that there was a welcome person 24h/day which was inaccurate as we were sent instructions on how to access the house (code) and then on how to find the keys in a locker box and how to open it, all that through a Whatsapp message. I found the way they described what code to use to enter the house not clear and the entrance was problematic, would have been annoying if my partner hadn't understood it properly. Even for the locker box, though the putting in the code part was well explained when it come to opening the unlocked box, if you haven't seen these boxes before it is not obvious how to open it though here again my partner (a man) was key to succeeding to open it... Additionally, the Whatsapp no sent to us to give us all these details said we could contact them for any questions but when we wrote asking about parking they never answered. So there is more to be done at a service level though the house and room were very pleasant and clean.

That the heat was off in the room when we arrived. The room was very cold and when I turned the heat on it took a very long time to warm up the room so I couldn’t fall asleep for a long time. It was uncomfortable.

The property is located literally at the beach and near all the restaurants and shops. You can not dream of a better location! And even more importantly: this is a real chambre d’hautes - you step inside as in your house and can make use of the living rooms and kitchens which are very nicely decorated and make you feel at home. The beds are also very good quality and a guarantee for a good night sleep! And yes: the owners are very welcoming :-) including the dog which is very keen to walk with the guests. We also choose to have the breakfast which is offered with fresh local products. Good value for money and a place I would highly recommend!

Only one small tip if there is a prolonged stay: it would be nice to receive fresh towels every two days or so. Especially if it is very nice weather and guests spend a lot of time on the beach. All the rest was just perfect!

un peu deçue

la position

on dirait une villa fantôme. on croise jamais personne, même au petit dej. la chambre était sous les toits, il faisait extrêmement chaud et il n’y avait pas de ventilateur à dispo. là fenêtre minuscule, il y avait pas d’air qui passait. petit dej pas incroyable non plus. machine nespresso, mais même pas l’option pour se faire un capuccino, ou pouvoir choisir du lait végétal. je m’attendais un petit dej beaucoup plus fourni, ou au moins la possibilité d’avoir des oeufs, j’ai été déçue. globalement déçue de l’expérience, le prix correspond surtout à l’emplacement.

Son caractère insolite, son charme, son placement, la décoration, le mobilier, le personnel du petit déjeuner (très disponible)

Il manque un système pour rafraîchir la chambre (dernier étage et chaleur +++) pour rendre cet endroit idéal.. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être plus varié (pas de céréales hormis les flocons d’avoine, et pas de salé non plus hormis le comté. Tout cela permettrait de coller plus avec le prix 290€ la nuit.

L’hôtel est très beau, beaucoup de charme.

Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, uniquement un velux très haut que nous n’avons pu ouvrir. Il faisait 32 degré dehors, donc dans la chambre c’était intenable. On a pu s’endormir que vers 3 heures du matin… On nous a mis un climatiseur qui ne servait strictement à rien.

1 j ai réservé une chambre de 25m2 et eu une single. Payer près de 130€ pour 12m2 est excessif surtout quand on pense avoir 25 m2 2 Un petit déjeuner devait être offert le vendredi matin pour réparer cette erreur et n'a pas été servi. C'est incompréhensible 3 impossible de joindre vendredi matin vos services par téléphone 4 Il y a eu du vacarme dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi dans les lieux. Inacceptable 5 Pas de ventilateur dans la chambre étouffante, j ai dû en acheter un

Un excellent moment !

Malgré les erreurs d’informations de la part de Booking (Système de code d’entrée et d’accès à la chambre) et notre arrivée tardive, La responsable a pris le temps de nous répondre et de faire une réservation pour nous dans un excellent restaurant. Gentillesse, disponibilité et cadre super sympa sont de mise.

L’étanchéité acoustique de la porte de chambre peut-être et encore. C’est vraiment pour trouver quelque chose.
