Great place to stay.
Great location for Juno beach, lovely rooms and great breakfast. Maxence and her husband were wonderful hosts. We were also greeted every day by Ursula the lovely Cocker Spaniel who was always pleased to see us. Will stay here again when in the area.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful place will definitely return
La Maison Pelloquin is a beautiful house in delightful grounds. It has been tastefully decorated. The hosts are very charming and welcoming. Our room was extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. It is centrally located a short walk to the seafront. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

A stay with a difference in a period house with fascinating history
Massive genuine period room, the history was fascinating, particularly the part it played in the allied invasion after D-Day. Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful period room.

A memorable stay in a wonderful chateau, perfectly located!
We had a huge, beautiful bedroom and bathroom overlooking the garden in this stunning chateau. Rodolphe and Maxence were wonderful hosts and a highlight of the stay was the breakfast each morning around the large table in a tastefully furnished room. Adjoining this room was a lounge for guests, with books and guides for the area, tea and coffee facilities and treats! Bernières-sur-Mer is a lovely village and close to many sites of interest. It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special. Thank you very much, Rodolphe and Maxence, for your kindness and generosity.

Beautiful chateau with lovely hosts
We had a great holiday in this beautiful chateau. 10 of us travelled by scooter from the UK and took over the whole place. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and there is also a separate guest lounge - all exquisitely decorated - very French! The owners are very approachable and helpful, happy to share tips and info about the local area and their dog is very friendly too. They also provide push bikes which we made use of every evening. Very good location in a peaceful village for visiting the D Day beaches.
