Great place to stay.

Great location for Juno beach, lovely rooms and great breakfast. Maxence and her husband were wonderful hosts. We were also greeted every day by Ursula the lovely Cocker Spaniel who was always pleased to see us. Will stay here again when in the area.

Breakfast was really great! The hosts were amazing as well! The property was beautiful and the rooms were fabulous! The location was incredible. It was great to use the bikes to cruise around. Plenty of restaurants and sights to see right around the corner.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful place will definitely return

La Maison Pelloquin is a beautiful house in delightful grounds. It has been tastefully decorated. The hosts are very charming and welcoming. Our room was extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. It is centrally located a short walk to the seafront. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

A stay with a difference in a period house with fascinating history

Massive genuine period room, the history was fascinating, particularly the part it played in the allied invasion after D-Day. Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful period room.

A memorable stay in a wonderful chateau, perfectly located!

We had a huge, beautiful bedroom and bathroom overlooking the garden in this stunning chateau. Rodolphe and Maxence were wonderful hosts and a highlight of the stay was the breakfast each morning around the large table in a tastefully furnished room. Adjoining this room was a lounge for guests, with books and guides for the area, tea and coffee facilities and treats! Bernières-sur-Mer is a lovely village and close to many sites of interest. It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special. Thank you very much, Rodolphe and Maxence, for your kindness and generosity.

Beautiful chateau with lovely hosts

We had a great holiday in this beautiful chateau. 10 of us travelled by scooter from the UK and took over the whole place. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and there is also a separate guest lounge - all exquisitely decorated - very French! The owners are very approachable and helpful, happy to share tips and info about the local area and their dog is very friendly too. They also provide push bikes which we made use of every evening. Very good location in a peaceful village for visiting the D Day beaches.

A Beautiful Home. A wonderful Stay. Lovely Hosts!

Our stay at La Maison Pelloquin was exceptional. The house was beautiful. Our hosts Rodolphe and Maxence were very gracious and tried their best to communicate with us in English. Our bedroom was extremely spacious with a separate sitting room. The bed, very comfortable and the bathroom well supplied. Breakfast was very good. Everything homemade and fresh. I would highly recommend staying at La Maison Pelloquin.

La Maison Pelloquin was a beautiful manor home on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property. The hosts, Maxence and Rodolphe were so warm, kind and welcoming. The breakfast included wonderful homemade items with fresh fruit. Perfect to start the day. We loved having access to the bikes to ride along the water of Juno Beach. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming Chateau in a peaceful setting near Juno beach.

The Chateaux is beautifully restored and decorated with flair. Our room was spacious and very clean. We loved the large French window. The property is very close to Juno beach and the town had some great venues for delicious dining. Breakfast was included and was delicious featuring local items. Our hosts were very helpful in making recommendations and making our stay very comfortable. I They took the time to share the history of this beautiful chateaux. I highly recommend Chateau Pelloquin!

Quaint historic home with lovely owners, highly recommend

The owners were amazing! They truly treated you like they had invited you into their home. They were very helpful with recommendations and reservations and took such good care of their guests. The breakfast was excellent with homemade touches like granola, tarts or cakes. Everything was very clean and decorated so lovely. And their dog was so friendly and cute too!

Stunning property in a great location with friendly hosts and a great breakfast.

La Maison Pelloquin is absolutely stunning, the whole place is decorated beautifully. It felt so homely and we were so warmly welcomed. The breakfasts were superb with plenty to eat and lovely touches of a home made cake or cookies. Our hosts were so friendly and could not do enough for us and gave us lots of ideas where to go and visit. The location is well placed for the beaches and museums, just a few minutes from Juno Beach. Plenty of parking in a secluded driveway we would definitely visit again.

Normandy Gem - Exceptional

Everything! The manor is exceptional! Beautifully resored old house with lots of history. Rooms and bathrooms huge, modern and the decoration is incredible. Family run business, the hosts were just perfect, welcoming, available, ready to do everything to make our stay perfect but also discrete. Little surprises here and there with homemade cookies and meringues in the living room. Highly recommend!

La Maison Pelloquin was a welcoming and peaceful haven to return to after a day exploring Normandy.

Maxence and Rodolphe were charming and attentive hosts who had thought of every detail to make their guests' stay comfortable. The breakfast was magnificent: fresh fruit, croissants, home-baked pastries, delicious coffee... Our hosts shared excellent tips for cultural, historical or hiking excursions, as did other guests over a relaxed breakfast. Guests could borrow bicycles to explore the area and our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable.

It was wonderful arriving to Maison Pelloquin in the evening after a choppy crossover with the ferry to Caen. Everything was done very thoughtfully and with a lot of care and we would love to come back soon.

Petit déjeuner copieux avec des fruits frais (mirabelles) et confiture abricot maison , un délice , le chocolat chaud fait maison et viennoiseries un régale. la chambre très spacieuse une literie au top ,petit bémol ,les toilettes n'était pas séparé de la chambre . l'accueil des propriétaires ,très sympas! pour le diner du soir avons trouver une creperie excellente à Douvres la délivrance avec un patron au p'tit soins pour ces clients.

Es ist ein sehr schönes großes Hais mit sympathischen Gastgebern. Alles ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Frühstück war für uns ausreichend, sind aber nicht die prädestiniert Frühstücken. Das Haus ist von einem schönen Garten umfasst.

Durch die Größe hat man mehr das Feeling wie in einem Hotel, als in einem Bed & Breakfast. Was aber kein richtiger Nachteil ist. Es gab nichts zu bemerken.

Mooie locatie en ontzettend zorgzame lieve eigenaren. Heel goed ontbijt elke dag voorzien van anders soort gesneden fruit en elke dag bij het ontbijt een versgebakken taart. Voor de gasten staan er fietsen klaar.
