Pond Front Home w Game Room Dog Friendly

This house was perfect for our trip to visit family in the area. Its location provides easy access to Chatham, Harwich, Brewster and Orleans. The house itself was spotless, and provided plenty of space for family members to spread out, either in their rooms, the living room, the elevated deck, or the finished game room in the basement. We particularly enjoyed the grill/firepit area, and the upstairs nook with the chess table.

Honestly we loved pretty much everything about this property, including the well-stocked kitchen. The only minor disappointment was that the sectional in the living room (which provides the only seating)is extremely low, and this is tough for older guest or those with knee issues, etc.

Spacious, easy communication with host.

Most windows and the doors do not have shades or curtains, even though there are no adjacent properties I didn’t feel comfortable with glass doors/windows with no cover.

Privacy & storage

Accessibility from road: blind curve & steep driveway Layout of essentials: trash was hidden in a closet behind the main door, main TV is setup VERY high without access (could not attach own devices), light switches were confusing and sometimes attached to TVs Repeat intrusion from staff: miscommunication on whether place was rented & staff had to enter for maintenance that was not communicated in advance, lawncare occurred without prior notice while kids were napping and caused septic to be “shaken” releasing BAD smells into the house Steep stairs without covering & open staircase in basement: toddler found these to be exceptionally tempting
