I really enjoyed my stay here overall. I was the only guest at the time, which made it feel very quiet and private—something I personally liked, although it may feel a bit too quiet for some. The host was very welcoming and helpful—she was happy to sort anything out for you, including bike rentals, bus tickets, and other travel needs, which made things really easy. The property isn’t in the exact location shown on Booking.com, but it’s only about a 5-minute walk from there. Pai town is around a 15-minute walk, so the location is actually pretty good—you’re close enough to everything but away from the loudness. I would recommend a bike for getting to and from here The room itself was spacious with a large, bed, and the air conditioning worked well. It’s a bit dated and the resort as a whole feels slightly dated but everything was functional. There was also a clean pool that guests can use, plus useful amenities like a fridge and TV. There’s even a pool table, which is a nice touch. The room felt secure during my stay.

One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a few roosters in the surrounding area, and they make noise throughout the day and night. If you’re a light sleeper, this is definitely something to consider—though of course it’s outside the property’s control.

It was quiet

We booked this property for the central location and pool however the pool was very green and the location is incorrect on booking.com. If you google Pai Friendly Resort, this is the correct location. So it’s around 1km from the centre not 300m. Rooms aren’t cleaned or replenished over your stay, we stayed 4 nights and needed to buy our own toilet paper.
