The house was fine, as expected. Great location.

The estate agency who manage the property were too intense, we could not relax properly. There was a multitude of emails and text messages regarding check in and check out and how is everything etc etc. The check out text at 8pm the night before was stressful, again reminding us of everything that needed to be done otherwise we would be fined. $40 for any spill in the fridge (plus 1% surcharge) etc etc. We are clean, respectful, tidy people who felt on edge with the attitude and intense terms and conditions from the property manager. We had to pay in advance $500 bond (plus $5 fee which was not refunded) in case any issues. We felt vulnerable and took photos of everything before leaving. Paying $500 bond was nearly one and a half times the whole rental price. We will not book any house using this property manager in future. I would have been useful to know that there was a coffee machine available. We would have brought our own beans. There was no hair dryer. This would have been useful to know as I would have brought my own - holidays houses always have these so should have been mentioned.
