BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Large enough for a family yet cozy and homey. Quiet area. Fantastic beach down the road. Close to the port but not too far from other areas on the island. Perfect!!!

Marietta (and of course Argyris and Pavlos) was everything you’d wish for a host on your vacation. Kind, helpful, positive and caring but in a discreet way. The apartment was amazing in perfect location just near the beach and the highlight of my day was having my first coffee for the day just with a 5min walk on the beach. Everything was great and hopefully I will be back.
My reservations have nothing to do with anything with the actual property. I would love for the area to have a couple more options in food and vibrancy. But if you have a car you can explore the nearby villages.

One of the best appartments that we have lived as a family, contains some facilities like a full-size refrigerator and hidden kitchen night light. (For the record: these may seem insignificant for most, but means a lot to parents with small childern).
The owners were very helpful and made the stay a relaxing experience.
Other than that, Diakofti has a beach ideal for toddlers and older children. For older children, making other beach friends is easy. After a few days it gives you the comfort that its ok to take your eyes off the children for a few minutes, because you realise that dozens of other parental eyes are also watching them for you and alert you, in case something is off, without even knowing you. It may seem as a stupid remark to most readers, but it meant the world to me. Being able to relax for a short time period.
