Wonderful hosts who take immense pride in their property and do everything possible to make your holiday special. Unbelievable attention to detail - fantastic lavish breakfasts, brought to your room on majestic cake stands, with something different added each day but always home made and fresh. Accommodation is in your own individual two-storey house which is spacious and immaculately clean. Add to all that a wonderful pool with plenty of loungers and chairs, etc…

Access a little difficult but that’s about all. Hotel is centrally positioned close to the beach and local tavernas. Agia Pelagia is more touristy than other resorts on the island - but the little gem of Potamos is close by

I rarely write reviews and only on the occasion that I am generally impressed by my experience of a new destination that I have visited. The level and quality of service offered at Castri Village Kythira was exceptional. The breakfast, cleanliness and foremost the effort that (Konstantinos and Christina our hosts at the location) put into making your stay there enjoyable should be used as an example of Greek Hospitality.

Could not Fault them.

Kristina and Konstantinou were warm and wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home right away and were attentive to our every need. They really went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible. We loved our Villa number 5. It was clean, comfortable, decorated beautifully (especially the dreamy bedroom) and had all the amenities we were expecting. We loved that we had two balconies, one of which had a view of the sea. There was also a terrace where we enjoyed our delicious breakfast every morning. We used the refreshing pool with well-furnished deck every night after we returned from adventuring. We thought the location was a perfect home base to see the island. The heart of the village of Agia Pelagia is a super short walk away including a great beach and several tavernas and shops to choose from. We LOVED eating dinner on the beach under the trees each night. It was a magical retreat, we wish we could have stayed longer. Kristina and Konstantinou achieved their goal, it really was a home away from home.
