This was the worst check-in I have had in India. I arrived in India and had my first night in this hotel. I checked in at lunch time and then jetlag hit me so I wanted to take a rest. But I could not. The hotel staff knocked on my door every 20 minutes asking me for more and more details like phone number and something with the passport. They had photocopied my passport initially, so none of this made sense. After 2 hours of this nonsense I got really angry and told them that they have to stop coming to my room and that I need to sleep and that they already have all the info. Please improve your check-in procedure for international guests. You photocopy the passport, what else do you need??? Ask for everything that is required at check-in, not a million times afterwards, it is really annoying!
