De gastheer woont in het appartement naast het huur appartement en begroet je hartelijk.
De auto kan op de oprit staan en het bed slaapt goed, kamer is erg donker door de rolluiken overal.
Het uizicht vanaf het balkon/woonkamer is fenomenaal
De wandeling naar Stresa is een klimmetje (of een afdaling 😉) maar goed te doen.
De bank is doorgezakt. De stoelen zijn volgens fotos 😅

Superb location: up a hill, overlooking the lake. It was only a short walk (though steep) into town.
The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, and Armando was charming and helpful.
No kettle was provided - pretty important for an Englishman's tea!

Abbiamo trascorso il weekend lungo (4 notti) del primo maggio e ci siamo trovati molto bene sia per la posizione panoramica, per la presenza del posto auto, per la terrazza e per il fatto che tutto funzionava bene. Armando, il padrone di casa, ci ha accolti personalmente con tutta la sua simpatia. Il centro di Stresa si raggiunge in dieci minuti a piedi per una stradina pedonale in discesa. Ovviamente il ritorno si fa in salita! Di notte, con le finestre chiuse, si dorme tranquillamente in quanto i rumori del traffico e del treno arrivano molto ovattati. Non ci sono cani che abbaiano.
Un po' più di luce in bagno davanti allo specchio non mi dispiacerebbe.
