Les Chambres de la Relève

The rooms have a cute design and it’s in a great neighbourhood. La Releve is a great bar and a Marseille classic, so the proximity is excellent. An interesting stay if you don’t want a hotel or Airbnb.

The room had a few issues, the toilet kept breaking (thanks to the staff member who kindly came up at midnight to help) and a few things in the room were on its last legs A contact us for help number would be helpful.

It was in a great location and stylish decoration with a lovely breakfast the cafe down stairs had a great buzz of an evening.

The shower and sink drained very slowly. The toilet didn’t flush very well.

Stunning decor. Ideal location. Super clean on arrival. Really comfortable beds.

We were surprised to find out that the bar and restaurant located directly below our room (same owners as the rooms)- didn’t close at 10:30pm as advertised, and what appeared online to be a restaurant by day and relaxed bar at night- was unfortunately not the reality. Loud (club loud) music until at least 11:45pm every night of our stay, we stayed weds-sun. Not even a small chance of rest until it was turned off as it genuinely felt like we were in a nightclub when we were in our room. A real shame- as everything else was great. But if you’re looking for an even slightly relaxing getaway- this place is definitely not for you.
