The Wellington General

The property is beautiful, spacious and clean. Each unit has a private entrance and parking is easy. They put so much attention to small details, it kinda feels like staying in a luxury hotel. All the rooms are freshly renovated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well- equiped. The showers have 2 shower heads. Down pillows, central air, large backyard with a fire pit and a bbq. We loved the place. It's also soundproofed; we know we had neighbours and we never heard a peep. The location is excellent; it's a 5- minute walk from the grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants/ café. The local beach is a 10- minute walk.

It took a little while to get the instructions on how to enter the property. The door opens with a keypad and we waited about 15-20 minutes outside for someone to call us back and give us instructions. Also, there's no washer/ dryer available. It's fine for short stays for a few days. But if you're staying longer than that it can be a problem.

This property was charming, clean and comfortable. The host communication was very complete and informative. The location was great and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Wellington.

The mattress and pillows weren't great but certainly acceptable. I am also very picky when it comes to beds and bedding. Other than that, no complaints!

Bien situé au centre-ville de Wellington, épicerie proche, plage à proximité, restaurants variés à distance de marche. Vue du lac à partir de la fenêtre arrière. Appartement spacieux, bien équipé. Relativement tranquille.

Situé au 2ième étage, presqu'un 3ième, escalier extérieur long, étroit et un peu chambranlant. Escalier complètement encombré de matière végétale tombant de l'arbre à côté, feuilles glissantes, noix noires et gommantes, on aurait pu dégager l'escalier avant notre arrivée. Déchets éparpillés sous l'escalier durant toute la semaine. Odeur de moisi en entrant dans l'appartement. TV HD annoncé mais aucune instruction pour l'opération de l'appareil et la sélection des chaînes. Chaises de cuisine très incomfortables. Plancher qui craque.

Die Wohnung für uns als Paar war ausgezeichnet, modern und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es war alles vorhanden, was wir für 3 Nächte gebraucht haben.
