Quite good location. Free, although average bikes available to use. Linen was good.
Poor security, anyone could get into the hotel and up to our floor level at 23:30 at night. No aircon in our room.

Location is fabulous and great to start and end a lot of Amsterdam long days. Interior is free and sensible.
Dust. They do not clean or dust the place right. Maybe that was additional work outside or just that tumor of the year but nobody is checking the quality.

The hotel is in the dockland area of Amsterdam, and whilst not in the city centre there is a tram stop only a few minutes walk away which takes you directly into Central Station. It’s easy to find and a short taxi ride from the main airport. The building itself is very quirky with high ceilings, curved walls and wide corridors. Its decoration suits the vibe. It’s quiet with plenty of areas to sit and read or catch up on social media. Our room had a double bed and a set of bunk beds which was great for myself and my 3 daughters. A hairdryer and bathroom toiletries were provided. The reception staff were super friendly and allowed us to store our luggage after checkout until we were ready to depart.
There is no air conditioning in the room but two fans had been provided. These were ok but were very noisy so we had to switch them off to enable us to get to sleep. It wasn’t a huge problem because of the timing of our stay - late August- but I can imagine it might be an issue in the hotter summer weather.

The location was amazing, nice quiet former harbor area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet close enough to get there with ease. The room was spacious and had the typical hoxton style. The bike rental is a lovely touch and we enjoyed cycling around Amsterdam.
We were lucky our room came with AC as not all rooms have AC and this was not mentioned on the booking. We went during summer and can imagine it being unbearable without AC. They don't clean your room unless you ask for it which we found odd. It's supposedly for environmental reasons but regardless it should not be marketed as a special service as this is standard. The room was very dusty, even after cleaning, and they don't clean things like the coffee mugs and glasses (they were left exactly where they were, uncleaned). Although the TV is a smart TV, the casting option was disabled, meaning you cannot stream netflix. This doesn't feel acceptable in 2026. The breakfast has very limited selection for the price and you get a voucher for 1 coffee which again feels a bit off for a Hoxton hotel. The restaurant also run out of coffee mugs. We did stay at the hotel during a very busy week in Amsterdam and appreciate it was at capacity, but compared to hoxtons in London and Rome, I would say this one falls short of the expectations.
