Castello Brunello is a great place to stay! Easy & welcoming check-in, a good size, updated & clean apartment with it's own outdoor space to sit. A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels & supplies in the baths & comfortable bed. The A/C works very well although we didn't need it all of the time because of the fresh breeze coming through our open windows. Fantastic view of the grapes & olive trees from a great pool area with plenty of lounge chairs; the garden throughout the property is well kept & full of lavender, rosemary & flowers. Plentiful delicious breakfast options & coffee or eggs served to your table if you choose by smiling, efficient staff. Close proximity to the town of Montalcino, a hot Spring and vineyard tours/wine tasting. The lovely multi-lingual, accommodating owner Erna Dorfmann is very hands on & makes it all run smoothly: from greeting guests with a smile to serving breakfast and everything in between!
We loved everything but a minor suggestion is to maybe add a stand-up reading lamp next to the chair or sofa in the living area for nighttime use. An observation is the walk to Sant'Angelo in Colle is closer to a 10-minute walk with some hills & uneven stone pavement for those with physical limitations (but you can drive over in this case).

The property was spectacular. The resort is run by a couple who designed and built this beautiful place just ten years ago in the style of Tuscany. They get to know you with a personal feeling. The construction used natural stones found in the land. The pool is stunning overlooking a vineyard. The breakfast is included and lovely. Although we did not need this much space, we had a two bedroom unit with a kitchen, private balcony and backyard.
Just a short walk up hill there a number of beautiful restaurants for dinner.

The property is actually new and very clean!!Pictures don’t do it justice. Have always wanted to stay in a tuscan villa and this property was perfect! The breakfast @ coffee was excellent and lots of choices. Staff was very welcoming and provided us with great service. I highly recommend this property.
Mosquitos were everywhere in Italy in early September especially in this region so bring mosquito repellent and you’ll be good. Wish the pool would’ve been heated.

Everything was made for you to feel good. every detail was perfect. The host was very nice and she made un upgrade for us. We had an appartment witha magnificent view. She let us have a late check out without charging anything. It was a pleasure from A to Z! We regreted we didn't stay a little bit longer.
A little expensive but it worths the money!
