Villa Tatiana

The villa is super clean, and the views are Stunning. We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us when we got there. The host is very helpful even to the point of offering to come out to help us find the villa initially (do not follow google maps - it takes you down an unmade road to the telecoms towers when we should have taken the road before). The pool is much bigger than the pictures show which was great. I wish the BBQ had been cleaned prior to our visit though as that was un-usable (especially as there were loads of cigarette butts in there an the metal grate was completely rusted, so you cant use that) having a BBQ was 1 reason I booked this so that was annoying. I also booked this because it was in the middle of nowhere for silence, but unfortunately a villa is being built 2 doors down and on a few days heavy machinery was being used so it was very loud (it annoyed me, but not my husband). Builders were there every day, so you get building noise every day (some louder than others - I wish i'd been told prior to the visit). Once the building work is complete, i'd recommend it if you are happy to drive everywhere. Although there are controls on the walls, I have no idea what they were for because each room has its own air-con unit which is great as we only used 2 rooms, so we weren't wasting energy cooling rooms we didn't use. TIP: Take a fridge magnet from your own country, as we saw people before had done this - its such a lovely idea.

We were not told about the building work very close to the villa and this did affect how much I was enjoying the holiday but just a couple of days. Also make sure the BBQ is cleaned between visitors. It would be helpful to have a booklet/sheet in the villa to tell you the wifi password & how to use the air-con & other useful info about the villa (like you get in other villas), this would have been better than us having to text the host and wait for a reply. One of the toilets (master bedroom ensuite) is not working so we couldnt use it for the entire holiday (I should have let the owner know as it appears to be a problem from another visitor too!) All of these things can be sorted out, and if so, i'd go there again

Situation exceptionnelle, vue imprenable.

À notre arrivée, la maison était dans un état de saleté et de désordre indigne d'une location saisonnière à ce tarif. Nous avons eu l'impression de "débarquer chez des gens" : mégots dans un cendrier sur la terrasse, WC non tirés, miroir cassé sur la terrasse, aspirateur et table à repasser abandonnés dans le salon, et une grosse tache sur la table masquée par un set. Plus grave encore : les draps n'avaient pas été changés et une sale odeur (tabac froid?) imprégnait deux chambres. La piscine était sale et les essuies de bain sentaient tellement le mal séché que nous avons dû les passer en machine à 90°C. Côté équipements, l'intérieur est assez défraîchi et un WC était en panne. Bien que le ménage ait été refait après coup (dans les 2heures), nous n'avons reçu aucun mot d'excuse ni aucune proposition de dédommagement financier, ce qui est très incorrect vis-à-vis du client.

Wonderful Location, quiet, well equipped. One of the best places we found.

Could use a "spring cleaning", esp. kitchen (expired and spoiled food is nothing we expect in such a luxury villa).
