Large garden block with multiple dwellings in the centre of Bendigo

Good location as we got the train and had no car (10 mins walk from the station and 12 mins to the town centre). Comfy bed. Heaters made it cosy. Nice to have tea/coffee/milk provided. Nice toiletries. Mostly a quiet/peaceful location (!) the occasional train (very close) didn't bother us - latest was 9pm and earliest 8am (maybe because it was a weekend?)....nice to have earplugs provided just in case. Eclectic collection of crockery but it did the job.

The windows and frames were very dirty/dusty/mouldy - I personally would have cleaned them before renting out. TV reception and wifi a bit dodgy but not a huge problem when we're on holiday!

You had the little house to yourself.

The location. I didn’t realise it was located so close to a railway crossing with warning bells. Every time a train approached the bells started, ding ding ding ding ding ding etc…. Until the train was long gone. This happened multiple times throughout the evening. The ear plugs were a considerate and thoughtful idea. And when I fell asleep, the bells didn’t disturb me.

Location was good. Our studio apartment was quite comfortable. Hand held shower was great. Loved the quirkiness of the place.

It was a bit hard to get in to start with as the door was stuck because it is warped, my husband said needs shaving back with a plane. Also, nowhere to hang the teatowel, could put a small rail under the kitchen bench.

Secluded, a bush setting in a regional centre. Very comfortable bed.

Its not luxury yet it is enough!
