Villa Celeste by Abahana Villas

We were looking for a very large Villa with four bedrooms for six of us Came across this Villa and it looked absolutely stunning but very expensive for one week Starting with the fantastic points. The Villa is huge with lots of space Kitchen has pretty much everything you need apart from oven gloves and tea towel which I think is very essential !!!! There are other villas around you, but you are not overlooked at all and it is very peaceful The Aircon works beautifully in all bedrooms and the lounge The pool is absolutely the best feature of this Villa. Very warm and crystal clear. The Sun does shine all day on the Villa. The pool gets the sun about 10.30 in the morning in July but this is a good thing because it was well over high 30s when we were there for the week. So shade is good. Everything was very clean. The barbecue was amazing. Loads of plates, dishes bowls, cutlery When we booked it, I did not realise that they said no essentials This meant there were no sheets or towels, so we had to rent them which was about €100 for six people This also meant when we turned up at the Villa at 1 am, there was no toilet paper at all! And I’m not sure if it was because the last people did not leave theirs or the Villa company cleared everything away Pretty disappointing for the price. There was also no bottled water no welcome pack which I would have thought they would have done.. but again halfway through they did deliver a box of amazing pastries for us all which was a lovely surprise No sugar and salt absolutely nothing in the cupboards So we had to do a major shop in the morning. Apart from that communication was good we checked out at 10 in the morning and had to empty all the garbage in the bins near the supermarket down the hill So basically, we learned a lesson when it says no essentials they mean no essentials. I think because this is a run by company private Elizabeth would be different..

Close to bars and restaurants and a supermarket, lovely pool and plenty of outdoor space and interior decor was nice.

We had to hire bed linen separately and make the beds upon arrival which was only a pain because of our late arrival time

You didn’t get any sun until late afternoon by the pool and patio area . Could have done with a smart tv for kids to watch Netflix etc or a dvd player . All channels were in German
