Extraordinary!

We had fantastic hosts! We booked the three bedroom house for a week, and we had the most wonderful stay. The property is hidden but in close proximity to everything you would need - from a day trip to Rouen, to a quick shopping run to Fécamp, to a day exploring Roman ruins in Lillebonne. And the scenery.. Ah, the scenery.

Lovely, clean cottage in the countryside

Our Cottage was newly finished with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was great for easy access to the Côte d'Albatre, pays de Caux and Boucles de Seine. The farm itself was located quietly in beautiful countryside with access through small roads.

A car is needed. There isn't much by way of activities in the immediate neighbourhood and sites like Etretat or Honfleur are best reached by car.

Tiny! we were 3 adults and managed. you would struggle to sleep the advertised 6 people. not suitable for older adults or small children.

beds were not comfortable...house was advertised as accommodating 4 people but in fact it had only one bedroom and sofa bed in the living area. Could have also specified that there were additional heating costs and added charges for towels/bed linen. Quite expensive for what you get. And house could have been cleaner.

Cosy house, beautiful garden, friendly people. Handy brochure made by the owners. With car not too far from etretat and fecamp.

I'm glad we booked only 2 nights. Don't book 'small studio' ever!

We really liked horse and apples.

Keep in mind - this review is based on staying in a small studio. We had to book something available with kitchen and pet-friendly. If we knew the outcome, we would book something else in 30km radius. The property is bearable only for 2 nights. It says it has kitchen, but it's just a minimum of equipment. Tiny bathroom is a nightmare. Description says that host speaks English. Guess what? Only French for communication. All this fancy stuff mentioned in facilities - it's a lie. No led lamps, no charging point for electric cars, no archery and etc. All these statements are about local town.

Almost perfect :)

Fantastic location - picturesque and quiet. Great bakery and butcher within 10 min walk in the same village. Great restaurants just a short drive away+ beautiful nature walks. The cottage was big enough for the 2 of us with a spacious bathroom and well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the view of gardens while having out drinks and meals outside. Very gracious and accommodating hosts as well.

The double bed was too small both in length and width. My husband's feet were dangling off the bed, he's 182cm, and we couldn't sleep comfortably together - my guess the bed was 140-150 wide, so one of us slept in the spare single bed. In fairness, the mattresses on both beds were very comfy.

Apparently there was a mistake by Booking.com, and we were not supposed to be able to reserve for that night. So the host was not really prepared to welcome us, she was kind enough to give us the bigger house for the same price, but the heating was off, so it was cold, and by the time we came back from dinner we realized that there was also no hot water. Possibly just bad luck.

Pleasant

Very good location and beautiful setting. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the games room and the fireplace was brilliant.

The shower wasn’t great - the drains were dodgy. Also, it needed at deep clean. The electricity was also rather expensive as we needed to use the heating.

Superlocatie, zeer rustige omgeving, voldoende ruimte in authentieke woning (2 ruime slaapkamers, open keuken en kamer. Gezellige inrichting franse stijl.

Goed aan de prijs, dan verwacht je eigenlijk niet nog extra kosten (voor bedlinnen en handdoeken).
