The cosy and functionally furnished holiday home is located in a rural area and offers peace and relaxation. There is enough space for up to 5 adults. The open gallery on the upper floor is ideal as a leisure area. A table football table is available here. There are sloping ceilings throughout the upper floor. The comfortable eat-in kitchen is located on the ground floor. The owner of the house lives in the neighbouring house and has to cross the property to get to his house. The owner has two dogs, other dogs are welcome. The shared washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a small outbuilding at the edge of the property. The holiday home is located in the historic centre of the village of Alt Schwerin in the immediate vicinity of the baroque manor house and the Gothic village church in the immediate vicinity of the Mecklenburg Lake District. An agricultural history museum (Agroneum) shows the development of agriculture in Mecklenburg. Passenger boat trips on the nearby Mecklenburg lakes and the Plauer Rundbus are a convenient way to explore the surrounding area. Alternatively, you can discover the nearby sunny beaches of the smaller lakes by bike. If you prefer something a little more varied, take a stroll through the town of Malchow or visit the monkey forest and the summer toboggan run. The folk festival in Malchow on the first weekend in July each year is the oldest local festival in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, dating back 160 years.
