Nearby is Søby Sø one of Denmark's purest heath lakes with a good and child-friendly swimming beach. Great to see are also the lignite deposits. On 16 km² you can expect a species-rich environment with sand hills, ocher-colored lignite lakes and there is also the Brunkulsmuseet to visit.
