Le Libellule
This friendly country house with private pool is located in a quiet side valley between the towns of Cortona (20 km) and Città di Castello (28 km). The house is modern and comfortably furnished, with various exits to the garden and the covered terrace. On the spacious property there is a barbecue, the pool area with sun terrace located slightly above and a small fenced fishing lake, all surrounded by olive trees. The owner lives in the neighbouring house and is happy to provide guests with fishing rods and two mountain bikes on request. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, cot on request. Excursion destinations are the beautiful towns of Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona (20 km). Here, the beautiful Piazza del Duomo awaits you with a lovely panoramic view of the countryside. Arezzo, with its impressive, sloping main square Piazza Grande with the church of Santa Maria della Pieve and the monumental Palazzo delle Logge, is 40 km away. Every first Sunday of the month, a picturesque antiques market is held in this traditional town. In the Umbria region, 50-60 km away, you can reach medieval Gubbio with its impressive Palazzo dei Consoli and Roman theatre, Perugia with its monuments and buildings of the old town and the fascinating underground Rocca Paolina, and Lake Trasimeno with its equipped beaches and romantic islands. Shops and restaurants near Morra (8 km).
