Enjoy pleasant hours outdoors in the garden, there is a sandbox for your children. The cottage is located between Diernæs beach (100 m) and Slivsø (900 m). Slivsø is Sønderjylland's third largest lake and habitat for an incredibly rich bird life with around 180 species, including kingfisher and sea eagle. Nearby Haderslev has a charming old town dominated by the city's impressive cathedral. Continuing south, you will come to Gråsten Castle, which is a meeting place for the royal family in the summer. Continue on to Sønderborg, the beautifully situated island of Alsen on the Flensburg Fjord. The city has much to offer, a charming waterfront with cafeteria and restaurant, Sønderborg Castle and the history center Dybbøl Banke.
