Cozy, adjoining vacation apartments (p. IUP288 and IUP289) in the ancient castle of Tocerano, originally a group of farmhouses around an 11th century military watchtower. This rural residence has been divided into four apartments in rustic style, maintaining the original wooden beams and terracotta floors, each with private outdoor space for al fresco dining overlooking the surrounding countryside. For communal use: extensive, well-kept garden with various seating areas and large pool, tennis court, laundry/ironing room. Thanks to its elevated position (700m above sea level), Tocerano dominates a relaxing green landscape from where you can admire Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, a picturesque and intact medieval hamlet. Situated on the border between Umbria, Marche and Tuscany, it is an excellent starting point to visit some of the most important cities of central Italy: the beautiful Città di Castello, which offers oenogastronomic events and festivals in summer, is only 6 km away. Distances: San Sepolcro 20 km, Cortona 35 km, Gubbio, Perugia and Arezzo 45 km, Assisi 50 km. About 300m away is the cottage IUP287.
