Nice apartment in Città di castello PG
This holiday home (semi-detached house) with private pool and panoramic views over the Tiber Valley is located around 7 km from Città di Castello.
On the ground floor: living room with kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor: living room and two further bedrooms each with bathroom and one with access to the private terrace. Original rustic furnishings, especially the kitchen-living room furnished in the style of a tavern made from restored barrels.
In front of the house, guests have exclusive use of the large terrace on the valley side; covered area with barbecue; adjoining the sunny pool area with outdoor shower and valley views. The owners live in the rear part of the house. Wine sales on site.
The house is located on the St Francis' Way, which connects the mountain monastery of La Verna (50 km) with Assisi (90 km). Excursions - on foot or by bike - can be organised on request. In Città di Castello (7 km) there are numerous restaurants, bars, shops and a colourful weekly market; in summer there are numerous concerts in the squares; also worth seeing are the picturesque hill towns of Monterchi and Citerna (each about 10 km), Anghiari and Sansepolcro (15 km), Arezzo 40 km, Perugia 60 km. Nearest village with shops: Lerchi 3 km. Short unpaved driveway.
