Magnificent house for 6 in Cortona with outdoor pool

This holiday home (semi-detached house) is situated 600 m above sea level in a small borgo above Cortona (18 km). The semi-detached house has a large private terrace with a view of the valley, the separate pool area is about 70 metres below, also with a large sun terrace and seating (shared with ITA227). From the terrace there is direct access to the eat-in kitchen, a narrow wooden staircase leads to the first floor, which can also be reached via an external staircase. From the cosy living room with open fireplace there is another side exit to the outside. The old farmhouse has been restored in a rustic style and tastefully furnished. Baby cot on request. The owners' family live in a neighbouring house in the borgo and are available to help and advise guests if required. The entire outdoor area is fenced and surrounded by hilly woodland. There is a small restaurant about 2 km away (see also ITA262/ITA263). This holiday home is suitable for families who enjoy a quiet location, fresh air and lots of nature. Excursions can be started from here on foot, by bike or by car in two directions: on the western side is the Etruscan town of Cortona, which is well worth a visit with shops of all kinds, restaurants, museums, art galleries and sophisticated life; a little further away are Montepulciano (40 km), Pienza (50 km), Arezzo (50 km) or Lake Trasimeno (35 km). To the east, you will find the Umbrian towns of Città di Castello (35km), Gubbio (50km), Perugia and Assisi (around 60km). And if you find the choice too difficult, you can simply stay in your little paradise on site.
