Here in this over 16 km2 stretching brown coal camp the high white sand domes and ocher yellow lakes hold a rich animal and plant life and the worth seeing brown coal museum tells about the hard life of the camp workers. The nature lover will go on a voyage of discovery in a canoe. In Herning, a beacon of culture, the Herning Art Museum and Ingvar Cronhammar's enormous monument 'Elia', from where an impressive view of the central Jutland landscape opens up, are impressive.
