This medieval world-famous town is only ten kilometres away. The old town centre with its many cultural assets and monuments is surrounded by a walkable city wall. The open-air museum and the Frankentherme thermal baths in Bad Windsheim, 35 kilometres away, offer recreation and leisure fun whatever the weather, as do the wildlife park and the Solymar thermal baths in Bad Mergentheim. The Playmobilpark in Zirndorf and Legoland in Günzburg are also popular with young and old alike, both good for a day trip.
