The house is beautiful, as are the surroundings. Irene is a great host, but her dogs Barnie and Kaia really added to our enjoyment and hilarity (without even mentioning the cute cats!) A great place to relax and use as a base to explore all the beautiful towns and cities in this beautiful region.

Our family loved this visit! There is so much history in this property and it feels like you are in a country retreat, yet so close to other villages and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This quaint working farm is wonderful to explore and so peaceful, there are trails from the guest cottage to the woods and it is a magical area. My husband, four kids and I stayed comfortably here and anted to stay all summer. Definitely a hidden gem so close to attractions in between Frankfurt and Munich Airports. This was probably our favorite stop in the three weeks we spent in Europe over 7 countries.

This is the place to stay if you want a true German experience. The countryside is beautiful, it’s very quiet and Irene and Willy are wonderful hosts! We had a lovely stay.
