Tastefully and lovingly furnished, the temporary home welcomes you to a hilly region with many excursion and activity options: Lourmarin and Gordes, officially one of the most beautiful villages in France, the ochre quarries of Rustrel, Gargas and Lacoste with its ruined castle, once the residence of the Marquis de Sade. You can also take a stroll through Apt, which is nestled in a Provençal wine-growing region. This town is a stronghold of candied fruit and is therefore affectionately known by the French as the jam kettle. In addition to candied fruit, Apt is also known for its production of earthenware and architectural ceramics, which have their origins in antiquity.
