Good, but the apartment will need some renovation.

Location was excellent, just a short walk from the old town with good selection of shops and restaurants and a wonderful boulengerie.

The bed was uncomfortable, perhaps the mattress needs replacing. In places the old tile floor was breaking up and needs repairing, both in the apartment and on the stairs.

Felt like home in the heart of Provence

We loved everything about this property. The apartment was beautifully styled, had everything we needed, and instantly felt like home—almost like stepping into a French fairytale. Its location was perfect, just a short walk from the centre of Apt and the wonderful Saturday market, and it made the perfect base to explore the stunning Luberon region. We were truly sad to leave!

Our stay at La Madone was magical! This historic property blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the artistic decor, the attention to detail, and the warm hospitality. The apartment (we stayed at Cezanne apartment) is spacious, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped. The hand-painted ceilings, antique touches, and serene garden spaces create an atmosphere that’s both luxurious and deeply relaxing. Secure parking and amenities like a pool add to the convenience. La Madone feels like a true home away from home. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful host, Clement, for making our stay so special: your care and attention truly made the difference. Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone seeking an authentic Provençal experience!

La Madonr

La Madone is centrally located in App. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Parking was available in a private car park very near the property for no extra charge which was much appreciated.

The walk up and down two flights of stairs and a further flight to the laundry and garden/ pool area.

Spacious well equipped apartment just across from the old town. Secure car parking provided a few meters away and a communal laundry in the basement. Excellent communication from hosts with many food and touring suggestions.

A charming Provençal stay

Such a lovely place! We instantly felt right at home in La Madone. Super cozy vibes with that Provençal touch. Our apartment was beautifully furnished, boasting an awesome view of Apt. Fond memories of our lazy poolside days. Plus, Apt's like the beating heart of the Luberon region – tons of villages and chateaux within a 15-minute reach. No doubt, we'll be making a return visit!

Little palace feel in the Provence with exceptional hospitality.

Hospitality was exceptional. The owner Clement was very kind and accommodating. Shared so many recommendations of things to do in the area. The property is very centrally located and close by to shops and restaurants in a waking distance. The room was very clean, décor was exceptional, mix between art, contemporary and modern style. Would highly recommend this beautiful property. We can’t wait to visit again

Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place to stay in Apt. The market, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance and the apartment was spacious and clean. Clement and Sarah were the most wonderful hosts! We loved talking to them and enjoyed all the recommendations they made. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We rented an electric vehicle for our trip and found a Chargemap charging station close by (about a 5-7 minute walk from the apartment). The area felt safe to walk. Air conditioning in the apartment was great and the pool was beautiful. We also loved being able to do our laundry during our stay. Highly recommend!

Great location to explore the towns of provence

WE arrived to be greeted by gracious hosts. The suite was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back to La Madone for a refreshing swim.

Gorgeous views from both the living room and bedroom. The location was perfect. The garden and swimming pool were very beautiful.

Ideal apartment

The apartment was ideal for a weeks holiday in Provence. Cosy, spaceous, stylish, wonderful oldfashioned pool, and close to everything. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again. Definitely value for money!

A few more cups and bowls would be great, as well as a possibility to hang your clothes in the bedroom with two single beds.

Un petit coin de paradis. La Madone a été un coup de cœur ! L'appartement est superbe, fonctionnel, et très propre. L'extérieur avec la piscine est un vrai plus, surtout avec un enfant en bas âge. Estancia perfecta en Apt

La habitación superó con creces nuestras expectativas. Todo estaba limpio, ordenado y muy bien decorado. La localización junto con el parking es perfecta para estar unos días tranquilamente en Apt y salir a visitar los pueblos de los alrededors. Clement fue un anfitrión muy atento en todo momento, además nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones de la zona.

Lo único que puedo decir es que al ser un edificio antiguo no hay ascensor. Para nosotros no supuso un problema pero los apartamentos están en la primera y segunda planta por lo que hay que subir y bajar escaleras sí o sí. Aun así no se hace pesado.
