The kitchen is connected to the living room, where the fireplace stove provides additional comfort on cool days. On the second floor there is a mezzanine where children and teenagers can amuse themselves in front of the TV. The vacation region Toftum is located in the north of Rømø near Juvre. North of Juvre is a bird sanctuary. Toftum is surrounded by moors and hills and the area is ideal for cycling. You can follow a bike path that goes directly through the area and takes you further into the nature of Rømø. The island is located in the middle of the Wadden Sea, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is a rich wildlife here. From the port of Rømø there are daily ferry connections by car ferry to the German island of Sylt. The beach on Rømø is one of the largest in Europe and offers the possibility of driving your own car to the water's edge.
