In the area there are many cycling and walking trails along the coast, with many fish smokehouses such as Blomlöv's smokehouse and lots of mushrooms and berries. The tranquil coastal towns of Fågelmara, Kristian and Torhamn are worth a visit, either by bike or by car. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming and fishing, in the sea or in one of the lakes in the area. Due to the location of the cottage on the border of Småland, you are not far from the coastal towns of Karlskrona, Karlshamm and Kalmar, which offer shopping and restaurants.
