The apartment is in a very convenient location near Les Halles and just a short walk from the center of the historic city; it is truly ideal for both walking and still having easy access by car. Having a garage is a huge plus; we didn't have any problems getting a VW Golf 8 wagon inside; the only real constraint is height (no SUVs). You do have to walk up to the 2nd floor (3rd level) via some windy stairs (i.e., not for the mobility impaired), but this is very typical in France. The apartment itself if perfectly finished with everything you need (stove, oven, large refrigerator, Senseo coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, etc), and everything is modern and clean. There is a ton of space: two good-sized bedrooms, plus a large living room, dining area and very efficient kitchen. It has individual air conditioning units in every room and we were able to maintain a very comfortable temperature. Hot water is plentiful. Also, the owner communicated promptly and clearly about accessing the apartment and addressed all our questions. This was the perfect base for our Narbonne sightseeing (which is underrated) and for driving to nearby locations like Gruissan, Sète, Béziers, Carcassonne, etc. There really is no reason to look at another lodging option unless you absolutely need hotel services or can't do the stairs. If this apartment is available, grab it!

The lock to the front door of the building is a little fiddly. Once the owner showed us how to use it (pull in slightly while turning left), it was easy. They are very good with sending photos and videos.

Propreté exemplaire, équipements neufs et bien disposés. Chambres spacieuses avec rangement. Climatisation de très bonne qualité. Accueil chaleureux avec de nombreuses explications. Situation géographique parfaite. Tout était bien pensé dans l'appartement, nous étions 4. Superbe petite terrasse.
