Situation géograpjhique idéale pour visiter les vallées Maggia et Verzasca du Tessin ainsiq que les îles Borromées. Maison très agréable pour vivre à plusieurs, car chambres très confortables, literie impeccable. Terrasse pour manger dehors. Stationnement disponible à proximité gratuitement.
Une seule salle de bain sans WC séparé; ce qui nécessite une petite organisation le matin. Suggestion : prévoir une bouilloire à la cuisine pour chauffer l'eau.

The property is situated in an area of natural beauty with some good hiking trails and panoramic views. It is also extremely quiet.
The hamlet of Porta is a good 30 minutes walk uphill from Brissago which was not made clear in the ad. There are no facilities ie. shop, cafe etc., no view from the property and we were very disappointed by the terrace and the dilapidated state of the buildings around it (we felt we could not use it). The bathroom and bedrooms had been renovated but the downstairs living space was cramped and not comfortable.
