Kalesma Himare

A beautifully furnished place, tucked a little away from the main town area which was actually perfect. It can get quite chaotic in the centre, so the quiet was really appreciated. We had a lovely view too. Breakfast was great. They switched to a buffet style from our second day and the spread was really impressive. The host was warm and helpful throughout, always ready with recommendations or whatever we needed.

Sunsets are stunning, stuff is friendly and helpful, owners are always reachable, breakfast was nice too. Good location and very chill.

Nothing - they’re building a pool now which will be great for everyone coming after us.

The room was extremely well-appointed, comfortable, private, and afforded incredible views of Himare and the bay all the way to Corfu. Super comfortable bed, quality linens and towels made for a luxurious stay. Two panels of the French door could be opened to create a truly indoor-outdoor experience, and we enjoyed the gentle sea breeze coming through daily (we never used the A/C.) This was truly one of the best of the 50+ accommodations we have stayed at in our last eight months of travel through eight countries.

Many reviewers mention the 70 steps up the hill leading to the property as a minus, but we found that it was a fair trade off to have privacy and that outstanding view.

Mooi uitzicht, rustig gelegen en op loopafstand van het strand en restaurants. Ruime kamer met goede bedden.
