Villa Aktio

The place is exactly like in pictures. Maybe even better! The pool and the house are super clean, you have all the facilities you need and Myrto, our host, was very friendly and always willing to help. We got usefull information about what we can do, where to buy good products, etc. Everything is organised for your comfort, with a touch of luxury. It was the first time when we really felt sorry that our vacantion was ending.

If you are looking for a villa for a quiet relaxing holiday and you are reading this, you have found it. We were very well looked after by Myrto, who really couldn't have been more helpful. The villa looks great, has everything you would need and it is in a lovely still fairly unspoiled area of Greece. It was great to have the choice of staying at the villa and using the pool or going down to the sunbeds on the small beach. Paliros Village is about 1.5km away, a taxi cost us €8. It's a lovely village with a small harbour, with beachfront restaurants, a few bars, supermarkets, butchers etc and a few gift shops. We liked Sysrtaki restaurant and the Yacht Club for dinner and the Azucar Cafe for brunch. The Highlight of our holiday was a day on a boat with our Skipper George from Alsalos boat hire. We planned our trip to the Meganisi sea caves with a stop for lunch and he found us some lovely quiet spots to swim in crystal blue sea waters. I'd highly recommend doing this, it's worth every penny. I'd lastly like to thank Myrto for being such a great host and for the free late check out.

Everything was perfect 😍

De villa is super mooi en rustig gelegen met zicht op de zee en de bergen, waarbij je elke avond van een prachtige zonsondergang kan genieten. De infinity pool met verwarmd water is zalig en perfect van grootte. De inrichting van de villa is supermodern en afgewerkt met de mooiste materialen, bovendien is alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig. Automatische bediening van verlichting, airco en verduistering is heel praktisch, bovendien is de airco zeer stil. Beneden is er een leuk privé-strandje met gratis gebruik van ligbedden, parasols, SUP’s en kajaks. Bij aankomst was de villa kraaknet en stond er een mand met allerlei lekkers en fruit klaar. De vriendelijke gastvrouw Myrto staat steeds klaar om het je naar de zin te maken en zorgt bij elke vraag onmiddellijk voor een oplossing. Omdat onze terugvlucht pas ‘s avonds laat was en er die dag geen gasten aankwamen, mochten we laat uitchecken, wat wij een zeer mooi geste vonden. Villa Aktio is echt het paradijs op aarde en wij zouden het aan iedereen aanraden.
