Guest House and Hostel VAL-MAR

Le personnel était particulièrement accueillant et vraiment serviable et réactif. Je leur ai demandé s’il était possible d’avoir un petit-déjeuner à emporter comme je devais partir tôt et ils se sont pliés en quatre pour me le faire, adorables. D’ailleurs le petit déjeuner sur place est vraiment excellent, le petit déjeuner albanais typique. Il est idéalement situé au cœur du bazar.

La présence de rideaux devant les lits seraient un plus mais c’était déjà parfait

Great location, very comfortable beds and excellent facilities. Not many people at this time of year so I had the room for myself most nights. I was unfortunate to have the American-Albanian music festival just under my window sill on the first night, which made it noisy, but it finished at midnight so no problem. Very quiet.

The manager was not really available, difficult to ask him for suggestions of activities. Booking also states there is possibility of washing clothes, however, manager would have to take the clothes back to his place and bring them back the next day. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not exactly what I expected.

Dejligt stort værelse alt, hvad vi skulle bruge. Internettet fungerede godt, det var meget rent, idyllisk og autentisk at bo her. Bygningen er en del af Gjirokäster's UNESCO-fredet bygninger i den gamle del af byen, så det var noget helt særligt at bo her. Selvom der var turisme lige udenfor døren, var det ikke for meget, det var stadig meget autentisk. Dejlig personale, seng, aircondition, bad og indretning. Ejerne af stedet er meget søde og kørte os til busstoppestedet, da vi skulle hjem igen.

Der var meget få ting, der kunne opgraderes på vores værelse. For eksempel var vinduet ikke så lydisoleret, så du kunne høre lidt musik fra festgaden, der ligger omkring 100 meter fra, hvor vi boede - og så kunne du høre lidt turisterne udenfor.

Super friendly, had all the things that make an hostel perfect (plugs near the beds, small light, lock for luggages, small furniture in shower rooms to hold personal objects, wide letter to climb the beds, comfortable beds, ac and other details I could have not noticed. Plus it is a combination of traditional guest house together with hostel style. Location is super central
