    I had an unpleasant experience with an extremely rude European traveller whom I shared the dormitory with. I went downstairs and asked the receptionist if they could accommodate me in a different dormitory for my second night. I was even prepared to pay extra in case I needed to upgrade to a private room. To my surprise, the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. They took me to another dormitory to make sure I could continue my stay comfortably and enjoy the rest of my trip. I couldn’t thank Hanoi Traveller House enough for their kindness and excellent customer service. A friendly reminder to anyone planning to stay in a dormitory: please bear in mind that complete silence should not be expected when you’re paying *** a night to share a room with strangers. Some people are early risers, some take morning showers, and not everyone follows the same sleeping hours or morning routine as you do. Normal sounds such as rustling clothes, folding fabric, running water from the shower, or unzipping a bag are simply part of staying in a shared dormitory. If you are particularly sensitive to these sounds or need complete quiet while sleeping, it may be worth considering a private room or a different type of accommodation.

    Very close to good places to visit. The room is very clean and relaxing, it’s so good to rest here after a long walk within Old Quarter. Staff are also very accommodating. We only stayed for 1 night here and wished we stayed here during our entire stay in Hanoi.

    This place location is good but the place is not for family, theres a bar beside thats full of drunk noisy foreigners. The hotel is outdated. There is no staffs room and you will see the staffs sleeping in the couches of lobby area. The room assigned to us has no TV for 2 days and then they fixed it but theres only one socket for the TV and Ref so you should choose if your gonna use the ref or the tv. The breakfast starts late so if you have an early tour forget it. Might look for other hotel in Hanoi next time we visit.
