Apartment del Alma

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for 4 of us. Enough rooms, spacious, very clean and outdoor area is great. It is literally a few minutes walk to the beach (not sure which one we were on) and supermarkets. There is a restaurant at the end of the road and several others close by along road opposite the beach. Would stay here again

Nothing

Apartment del Alma is beautiful, well equipped, and very luxurious. The indoor and outdoor spaces have everything you could want and more for a relaxing stay (including little extras such as a toastie press and beach umbrellas). The outdoor space, with its jacuzzi and sauna room, provides a wonderful spot to chill during the day and the evening. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Overall the vibe of the apartment was incredible. It felt like walking into a little slice of paradise. The location is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet stay near Split, with amazing access to a local beach 3 minutes walk away, and small shops and restaurants that mean that you don’t necessarily have to go into the city. Getting into the city of Split itself is also very straightforward by taxi so you can choose whether to have a day in the apartment, a day at the beach, or a day in the city with ease. Split itself is gorgeous, with a wide range of eateries, bars, shops, and fascinating history. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and eager to provide the best experience to their guests. They like to meet at the start and end of the stay to make sure everything is okay and we found them to be very warm and friendly both times. On our first day the region had a very rare power outage over night, during which the hosts were on hand to investigate and provide us immediate support and care, to which we were very grateful. At the end of our stay they were incredibly flexible with checkout time, to help accommodate for our travel arrangements. They clearly care deeply about their guests and the quality of their stay at Apartment del Alma.

The only notable issue that we encountered with the property was that, with 5-6 people staying, the shower water would start to run cold after 3 short showers, which became a problem when our group came back from the beach and wanted to prepare for the evening.

Danijela and husband were great hosts. They waited to meet us on a late arrival, provided a welcome pack of basics for us. We had everything we needed and felt very welcomed to their home. The apartment is spotless it was like we were the first people to stay there but there have been many other happy guests before us. Everything was spotless and a well equiped kitchen. It is well cared for. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub every evening to wind down after being out exploring during the day.. Its a great location just a short taxi ride into split old town 10-15mins depending on traffic but the apartment is also surrounded by a small bay, stoney on the beach but sandy in the water and it is shallow. You are within walking distance to supermarkets, bakerys and to arrange boat trips also. The area has a great selection of restaurants, i think Charlie's was our favourite and the restaurant at the campsite has beautiful views over the bay with a chilled atmosphere. It is a perfect location and one of the nicest apartments we have stayed at as a family of 4.

Sadly we had to leave to travel home..we weren't ready to leave such a lovely place.

We Loved everything we didn't only like it. Videos and pictures do not do it justice. It was enough to just hang in the apartment without going to the beach which was EXTREMELY CLOSE. Host greeted us, brought her own potatos and onions from her garden. Explained everything to the tee. We left some garbage we didn't know where to dispose of and she took care of it. AMAZING! Recommend! Recommend! 5* if there ever was one rating for 5*.

Parking was our only slight inconvenience for second car but there is public parking near by so we utilized it.
